Well, while it's WONDERFUL to have my things here... can I say again how nice it is to have my coffee in the morning????... anyhoo, reality slapped me in the face this morning. I now have to find a place to put everything! I tried to start in Sydney's room today and quite honestly haven't made much progress!
Chris was a speed demon on Saturday and while I took Sydney to her first soccer practice (what a disaster that was! lots of screaming and tears and no playing of soccer) he emptied almost every box and had piles everywhere ready to be organized. We got the living room and kitchen squared away but I am going to take a bit to get the rooms all organized - did I realize I had this many articles of clothing????? and shoes??????? and how many stuffed animals can you fit on a bed anyway??????
Oh well, one day at a time I suppose - I'm off to get Nicholas from the late bus in a few minutes. Can't imagine that he got on the wrong bus again today! I'm sure he'll remember it's bus #4 until he's a grown man! :) Tomorrow will be another first - I'll be off to the American Club to get my hair cut... I'm in such desperate need anything would be an improvement. More to follow I'm sure...

I was watching Anthony Bourdain last night and he was in Hawaii. He was eating a Puka Dog! Can you get those in Tokyo?
is that a hot dog with lots of holes? or full of shells? I thought puka meant hole... I haven't really found hot dogs - we have found the Jennie O turkey dogs in the freezer section and several varieites of Johnsonville brats but can't seem to find my ball park franks!
You don't remember Puka Dogs? They take the roll and force a hole down the middle of the bun and toast it from the inside. Then they insert the sauces and finally the dog / sausage. I distinctly remember one of you guys telling us about it. When I saw it on TV, it reminded me.
